OK I emailed in couple pics of my little skimmer, by little I mean that I built her at 7/8 size (7'x3'-6") to fit on the deck of my bigger boat. I also used 3/16" marine ply, mahogany timber, glass and epoxy. I know a real over kill on materials:-D . She is used ever day to get to shore and back using a 4hp out board or ores when the weather s nice. So far over two years and still the best tender I ever had.
tried to post the photo in the message but it did not work for me.

Hi polunu,

Congrats on the Skimmer... Look forward to seeing the pictures...

As for the process of posting those pics... Here's how I do it...

i.) I take the shot with a digital camera or scan in an existing photograph... I like to work in the jpg format...
ii.) Once the photo is on the computer, I use any popular photo editing software to crop and then re-size it to 640 X 480 pixels...
iii.) I then log in to Photobucket (or Flickr or...) and upload my pic. (Note that some photo hosting sites have their own photo editors.)
iv.) Once the photo has been uploaded, I copy the image tags and contents (they will be "IMG" in square open and close brackets without the quotes...)
v.) I then write my post entry on this forum and paste the image codes and contents where appropriate within that post...

And that's about it...

Feel free to ask if you have more questions...

Alan
